i listen to a lot of Jazz lately.
i know hardly anything about it, but sometimes i need to listen to music without words; because words trigger memories of my Past.
Then, i change things up and turn to 96.5, KOIT Radio, which is here in the San Francisco Bay Area where i was born and raised.
And here on the SF Peninsula i have had my Home for over 30 years.
But i still assign myself as a San Francisco native; because, You can never leave behind the sensation of Life in The City.
Though we are entering a new Decade next month into 2020,
i do still cling to Vintage Music across the past Decades.
During the Holidays in the 1960s,
my Brother and Sister and i were in charge of decorating Our Christmas Tree.
We would play Record Album as we went around the Tree
finding the perfect placement for ornaments.
The Christmas Albums we played we often sang along to.
The series of Albums i remember most were released by the
Firestone Tire Company in downtown San Francisco.
We made an annual trip to Downtown SF with Our Dad.
The Best was looking at the Window Displays in Macy's, The Emporium,
The City of Paris and all the major Stores Downtown.
Wonders to behold in those Windows!
And, of course, our favorite Christmas Carols rang throughout
Union Square, out from all the Christmas windows.
i Thank God for those sweet memories.
"Merry Christmas" to You and all You know!
